Environmental Clearance
Prior Environmental Clearance is mandatory under the EIA Notification, 2006 for eligible construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects before development begins. For buildings, from 20,000 sq.m built-up area upward (Schedule 8(a)/8(b)). We handle the full process: applicability assessment, Form-1, EIA/EMP reports, technical annexures, presentation support, query replies, and coordination with regulatory authorities through to clearance.

Construction projects above 20,000 sq.m of built-up area now fall under the Orange category (O 10.1) of the CPCB/GPCB classification, which requires both a Consent to Establish and a Consolidated Consent & Authorization. Any project drawing groundwater from a borewell needs a CGWA NOC before extraction, and the NOC brings ongoing duties with it. These include water-audit reporting for commercial and infrastructure projects, and a biennial certified audit for industries drawing over 100 KLD. We handle it end to end: NOC applications via the NOCAP portal, dewatering and operational extraction approvals, hydrogeological inputs, water balance preparation, recharge planning, and water-audit support.

Buildings now make power on the roof and draw it at the parking bay. GDCR 2017 sets rooftop solar at 5% of connected load (or 20 W/sq.ft, whichever is less) for eligible buildings, with EV charging provision at the design stage. We take solar end to end, covering shadow analysis, load assessment, system sizing, structural feasibility, DISCOM coordination, installation, and post-commissioning support, plus the EV charging alongside it.

The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 require bulk generators to process wet waste on their own premises as far as feasible, and GDCR 2017 mandates dry-wet segregation.
